New York artist Yuken Theroux (Yuken Teruya) was authorized to The New York Times to create this series called "green economy" . Sprouts emerge from the surface of banknotes as a symbolic representation of the world of nature, existing in harmony with a thriving economy. The project aims to reflect on the problem of the greenhouse effect.
