Art and BMW meet in a Shoreditch car park

Complain about the traffic chaos all that you like, but the Olympics have one huge automotive factor in their favour. The ICA, BMW, the Mayor of London and the London 2012 festival have combined to bring a BMW art collection to the NCP car park on London's Great Eastern Street. The collection, collated over 35 years, includes designs from Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Cesar Manrique and David Hockney - whose design features the inside of the car painted on the outside - including a dog in the back. Just remember you can't drive in the special lanes to get to the exhibition… gq-magazine.co.uk
