In May, U.S. President Barack Obama and NATO members have prepared a plan to transfer Afghan security into the hands of Afghan forces by the summer of 2013. Homemade bombs, suicide bombers and Afghan security forces fire on military coalition - all this goes on and leads to new victims.

Afghanistan June 2012

/ Friday, August 10, 2012 /
During the first month of summer in Afghanistan killed 39 coalition troops. During the entire campaign killed 3071 - approximately one death every 30 hours since the invasion in October 2001. Perished in June - men aged 21 to 47 years, 29 of the United States, four from the UK, four from France and one from Italy. The losses among the civilian population continues to remain high, as local are often the victims of NATO bombing and constantly suffered from attacks by the Taliban. Common indicators of dead and wounded are gradually declining, but the long and complex process of withdrawal from the country is still in its infancy. And the soldiers, and civilians are dying in Afghanistan every day, and still a lot of deaths.
