Sudd swamps in Southern Sudan
Sudd - a vast swampy region in the central part of southern Sudan, formed by the White Nile River. This area - one of the largest wetland in the Nile Basin. On average, its area is 30 000 square kilometers, but in the rainy season when the river overflows, it can reach 130,000 square kilometers - an area about England!
Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya.
In the northern part of Pattaya, at the seaside secluded peninsula, is the Temple of Truth, not an ancient historical monument. Its construction started in the early eighties of the last century and continues to this day. But it is already recognized as the Temple of Truth highly artistic examples of religious architecture and one of the tallest wooden structures in the world. Church, more than a hundred feet in height, built on the model of the ancient monuments of Khmer culture. And this is the top ten places to live, according to that same organization «Economist Intelligence Unit». Parameters to determine the ten winners are the same as for the determination of the worst cities in the world, namely, the level of crime, the threat of conflict, the quality of health care, the level of censorship, the air temperature, the quality of educational facilities and the transportation system. The list is also presented in descending order - the 10th city photos, which took first place.
