Reserve Masai Mara is located in the south-western Kenya, and, in fact, is the northern continuation of the Serengeti National Park, located in Tanzania. Masai Mara is famous for its large number of living animals, and the annual migration of antelope, wildebeest and zebras. Each year, around July, these animals start migrating in great herds north from the Serengeti plains in search of fresh grass, and in October, come back to the south.
The route passes through the prey Mara River. This is the most dangerous place on a journey, as dozens of hungry crocodiles already waiting their victims. Italian-born photographer living in Kenya for 20 years, Paolo Torchio captured the drama of the crossing.
